^{Some thirty five years have elapsed since C.G Godfrey Ltd first started trading as a plant hire company.  Contracts were local to the Spalding area and were mainly limited to road and sewer construction.}

It has grown in both size and disciplines working for a number of local authorities, private clients, water companies, district and county councils.

It specialises in heavy civil engineering structures, pipelines, mechanical and electrical engineering, sliplining, pipebursting and diamond drilling.

It has developed a design and construct department to specialise in pipeline and vacuum sewerage systems, industrial building and structural foundations.
